I don't like giving bad review and tend not to. However, there comes a time when you're reading you just want to slap the main characters - this is the time = Cammarry and Jerome (slap, slap). Love, Anger, Hate seemed to be the theme for this book. Indeed, bad things happened after the habitats crash landed on the planet - remember it WAS the wrong planet in the wrong solar system. Yes, there are native beings on this horrid planet, but don't assume they are bad just because they look and act different. Jerome hates the Crocks, based on an assumption from fear. Losing Cammarry to a crazy AI, slavery, gravity wells, can't communicate with Sandi while on the planet are all the Crocks fault. It's as if he blames them for all the problems the Conestoga and the habitats have befallen. In the beginning, Cammarry had some trust and anger issues, which could have been worked out if she would have sat down and listened instead of making assumptions. But no, so her lack of trust, her anger and hate took a firm grip and became the primary focus in her life. How did immature people like these survive in Dome 17 and eventually become a Searchers?Product details

Marooned on the Conestoga Colony Ship Conestoga Book 2 eBook John Thornton Reviews
Awesome book! Very thrilling and adventurous read! The storyline was amazing and the author knew how to keep the reader engaged with plot twists here and there. The story was fast paced and I thought it had good details. I didn't think there was any plot holes. Overall, this was a good story, and I was able to finish it fairly quickly!
The continuing adventures of Jerome and Camerry on the wreck that is the Conestoga keep the reader on their toes. Our heros search for answers and each other as they make their way through the needle ship and down to one of the habitats that made planet fall. It seems each answer just leads to more questions and a little more adventure than they bargained for. Over all an enjoyable read.
I followed these series before but this two new adventurers just take the cake. Seems that not only their technology stopped working but also during their travel their brain regressed to one of a 5 year old. Their actions and behavior borderline on the dumb and stupid... Why would she never mention that Shadow figure? It just makes no sense at all ... I think I'm done reading his books.
good continuation
Okay, this one drove me totally nuts. I thought the premise of this book was awesome, and I wanted to like it, i really did, but the execution was terrible. Just cutting out the useless and repetitive dialogue alone would probably halve this book's size. The characters just babble on and on and on about anything, everything, and nothing. I can literally skip pages of dialogue and miss nothing. It was all filler.
But what really drove me mad was the ending. I mean, come on! What were those characters thinking? Were they thinking at all? I'm seriously questioning how much brainpower those two actually have.
I can understand them wanting to help the people, but instead of just freaking out they should have sat back for a minute and come up with a good rescue strategy.
Seriously, after sitting back for just a couple of minutes and thinking about the situation and the tools at the characters' diposal, I came up with an excellent plan that could have saved near everyone. But these fools threw all sense and planning to the wind, just went nuts, and made the situation so much worse. The ending of this one left me stewing for hours.
And Cammarry? She was such a brat the entire time, I wanted to slap her so bad. She easily takes the prize of WORST female lead i've read in years. Jerome should have slapped her. She's nothing but mean, and maybe a bit insane.
There are few times when I read a book and truly can't stand the main characters. But i'm afraid this was one of those.
A great continuation for this series! Sometime I feel like the second book of a series can really fall flat after an amazing first book, but I'm glad to see this one didn't. Colony Ship Conestoga is a great science fiction adventure series and in book two, the action continues. Jerome and Cammarry's story continues and they're trapped in a long way from Earth. They try to uncover the truth about what has happened, but aren't even sure if it's worth it. Another great read!
