While I did read this whole set, I can't say I was too impressed. When books are written in the first person narrative, there just isn't much there. For me, the story, and the reading gets to be a little monotonous and boring. I like to know what's going on with the other characters in the book, their thoughts and feelings but, as just the same with Twilight and Fifty Shades, you don't get that in this series. And while I'm no prude, and enjoy a good sex scene, they were endless in this book, so many that I began skimming over them. There is a lot more to romance than sex. This book had the potential to be a somewhat decent story (if you can get past the scene where she's watching him through a hole in the tunnel while he watches porn and gets himself off), a good, evolving love story, but sex is pretty much all they did together, or wanted to do together. I don't know if the author was thinking that if she put more sex in her books, it would be the hit Fifty Shades was (although, I'm still wondering how that happened too, because I've read hundreds of better books), but, for me, it fell flat. I gave the review 3 stars because the characters were likeable enough, but they needed more depth.Product details

Lily is feisty and full of life and used to her life struggles. Calder is handsome and used to having everything on a silver platter. My how things change for them both. I loved the games they played. I will read more of the Cunningham story. Although spicy romance better describes this rather than erotic.
Before I start this review I wish someone in the publishing industry would tell me when they started selling stories in parts 1, 1.5, and 2? This is a love story in a boxed set, and it's really good. I'm going to try and pick up the next boxed set.
The author is a very talented writer. Her plot is well thought out. Her characters are strong, interesting people who have problems trusting themselves and each other. Her editing and proofreading team are excellent.
If you like love stories with games and mysteries, then this is the set for you.
The characters, Calder and Lily, are well defined and you can totally relate to them. Imagine a billionaire losing everything. What a shock to his self worth. It takes a woman who starts out trying to get him to honor the contract for her father's and her nonprofit organization that Calder's father pledged to. But bad decisions looses it all.
Calder starts a game that in the end challenges both of them to look at themselves and realize that something has been missing all along. Will there be winners in the end? Now I challenge you to read this these stories and see if you don't agree. Ember has now earned a place in my favorite writers list.
This was one of those surprise finds on my kindle. I've bought a lot of books over the last few years and some sit there a while before I find them. I read this series and loved it. I loved Lily and how strong she is, despite her past. I loved Calder and the games he and Lily played. I couldn't stop reading this series. I was a mass of emotions reading it. I'd never read anything by this author prior to this series but I will definitely be reading more of her books.
This box set was so much fun to read! The title is exactly what these books are filled with...wicked/dirty adult games. Imagine hide and seek in a mansion full of secret passage ways, dirty truth or dare, innocent games that have naughty prizes for the winner and so many more. Add in some mystery and the ups and downs of this budding romance and you have an amazing read. Plus a great ending.

I've never in my life purposely put a book down for a day or so while reading it so I could absorb everything, feel everything, and re-live everything I've just read!
Stunning! Absolutely Just Stunning!
I usually fly through books as fast as I can because I can't get enough, fast enough.
Oh, I'd read "HIS WICKED GAMES" fast but then I'd re-read it and then I'd put it down. Sometimes when I came back to start reading again, I'd find I wasn't ready to move on yet, and put it back down again, to keep re-living it for a while longer.
Of course, when I did finally make it through to the end, I started over and re-read it start to finish without interruption. But …
Never In My Life …
To be honest, I am quite ambivalent about this book. It felt a bit like being on a roller-coaster ride, there were a lot of ups and downs.
On the up side, this wasn't your typical sexy billionaire meets beautiful, fiscally-challenged heroine. In fact, when our hero and heroine are first brought together, our hero has had a bit of a set back.
Throughout the book, there are moments where the 'action' picks up, and there is a sense of promise but there are also what seemed to me, as long periods where not much was happening though.
Even our happy ending seemed to drag on a bit more than was necessary.
