This book is filled with great home stories, home movies in a written form. Plenty of passages from the bible that will remind you who is really in control. I laughed and cried with Dru as I read each story and lived life on the ranch through her. This is a great book, life as it really is.
Love of home and family, love of animals on the ranch, and love of God are all portrayed in this delightful book. The author clearly depicts ranch life in the West just the way it is and how she has adapted to that way of life.
The dependence of her and her family upon God is a theme that is woven throughout the book.
This book is suitable and highly recommended for family reading.
This devotional is sweet insight to God's ever presence in our everyday lives. With stories of ranch and how they relate to scripture and God's love, Ms. Dye has made me more aware of how God reveals Himself to those who watch for Him. It is a delightful read and so practical. I highly recommend this book.
I picked this book up in a little store close to our home. We decided to take a little "away" time for ourselves from the ranch. What a fun surprise this little book was....Finding God in our everyday life is really not that hard when you are living it everyday. From the little pets, cattle, horses, sheep, goats and yes even the chickens. Drusilla's Book brought out the best in what life on a ranch is for most woman who live this life.

As a "city kid" with ranching in her blood, a lover of a good object lesson, and a believer in telling our stories this book is like the written form of comfort food! The author tells about her life on the ranch in a simple story-telling style that is engaging and appropriate for all ages! I would love to read more by this author!I
